This note is written to you both as the sun streams into our kitchen nook and family room and my heart leap in thanksgiving for the beautiful home you built for us! We have both been so comfortably enjoying the fruits of all of your quality subcontractors that it almost seems impossible to remember it was only last year when the flurry of activity was molding our dream in what seemed like an endless rhythm.
Charlie, we feel so blessed to have met you and Diana who guided us through this (our fourth and final build) with honesty and integrity and competency all packaged in that casual humor and comic wit that guided us through the often emotional and worrisome building times with assuredness and financial conscience.
The artistic side of me challenged so many “first” for both you and your contractors who would sometimes be scratching their heads as you would fix your gaze and smile: “We will make it happen” and you really would make it happen!
Rick and I aren’t forgetting the many, many, long distance long into the night telephone three-way coordination calls you orchestrated for uninterrupted timing scheduling and selection needs.
Charlie, what we prized most of all in this build with you and Diana is the fact that you both were truly “involved” and took us personally to each major subcontractor for selection, pricing, coordination and you did not forsake us in the “process”, believe me, in our experiences of past builds, we never had such a comfortable “team feeling”! It felt to us that you were building our dream home as though it were your own and words fall short to express my gratitude for such a gift!
Thank you for never fearing innovation, for always prizing honesty, for unwavering timeliness of response and for selecting a team of likeminded subs to be a dream weaver.
